BAE Shift of the day
BAE Systems wanted to use the format of a sports punditry show to start a conversation with their staff about safety, health, and environment. We worked collaboratively alongside them to develop the concept and make their vision a reality.
The format BAE Systems had suggested was rich in tropes we could play around with to create an engaging, humorous film called Shift of the Day. We got Rebecca Charlton, a real sports pundit, to anchor and had two members of BAE Systems’ staff take on the role of pundits. The clips our presenting team critiqued were CCTV-style shots we filmed beforehand which detailed the serious health and safety issues we wanted our audience to become better educated on.
When the film went live it quickly became the most engaged with piece of health and safety content the company had ever created. The success of the first film led to the commission of further episodes of Shift of the Day.
