A Safe Space to Study Abroad
Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is an international university formed in partnership between the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong University in China. The COVID pandemic meant there was reluctance from some students based in China to do the two years of study in Liverpool which is part of their course at XJTLU. Our film had to reassure students how safe and valuable their time at University of Liverpool would be.
We spoke to a number of the students from Xi'an Jiaotong to identify what their stories were. Using this insight, we put together a brief for students to follow when they filmed themselves on their mobile phones. We edited the footage we received into an overview film, as well as other pieces of content.
